Pugh, Graham, Warpenburg also honored on eve of sectionals

Senior A.J. Dague won the Caston boys golf Athletic Integrity/Selflessness and Low Average awards at a recent awards night ceremony.
Dague will continue his golf and academic careers at Trine next year.
Like Dague, Colby Pugh also won his fourth varsity letter and won the Athletic Competitiveness award.
Pugh will attend Purdue in the fall.
Luke Graham and Chas Warpenburg also won varsity letters. Graham was also named most improved golfer.
“It has been a pleasure to coach both A.J. and Colby the last three years,” Caston coach Chuck Evans said in a statement. “I have seen them grow personally and athletically into outstanding young men. … I am looking forward to seeing what future successes we will see from them.”
Caston will tee off at 10:15 a.m. Friday at the Logansport sectional at Dykeman Park Golf Course.
Caston’s Dague, Pugh shoot 33 in best-ball format

Caston’s A.J. Dague and Colby Pugh combined to shoot a 33 over nine holes in a best-ball format in an unscored, three-way match against visiting Culver and Pioneer at Pond View Golf Course in Star City Tuesday.
Luke Graham and Chas Warpenburg were paired and shot a 52.
The start time was moved up to allow the Caston players to attend the softball team’s regional game at Fremont.
Caston will play at the Logansport sectional at Dykeman Park Golf Course Friday. Tee time is 10:15 a.m.
