Clevenger wins at No. 3 singles, but Rochester falls to Triton

Girls tennis

Triton 4, Rochester 1 (Monday): Rylee Clevenger rallied from a set down to win in three sets at No. 3 singles, but the visiting Lady Zs lost to Triton Monday.

Clevenger lost only two games total in the final two sets.

The only other Rochester player to win a set was Ella McCarter, who won the second set of her match at No. 1 singles to Danica Kuntz but lost in three.

Taylor Howard lost 6-3, 6-0 at No. 2 singles, and the doubles teams of Audrey Bolinger and Chloe Nichols at No. 1 and Sophie McCall and Abriella St. Martin at No. 2 both lost in straight sets.

Triton also won the JV match 3-1.
