Clyde, Fincher win conference titles, help Valley finish 4th in INSC

Boys wrestling
Hunter Clyde (190) and Masen Fincher (215) won Indiana Northern State Conference titles at the conference meet at Jimtown Jan. 17, helping the Tippecanoe Valley boys wrestling team finish fourth out of six teams.
Valley scored 186.5 points. Bremen won with 242.5, 36 more than runner-up Knox.
Other Valley placers included Diego Gonsalez, who was second at 175; Kolton Sisk, who was second at heavyweight, Chase Fincher, who was third at 138; Kodiak Hillen, who was third at 144; Thad Shambaugh, who was third at 150; Christopher Bailey, who was fourth at 120; Bryson Martin, who was fourth at 126; Wyatt Reese, who was fourth at 132; and Parker Adamson, who was fourth at 165
Valley filled 11 weight classes. They forfeited 106, 113 and 157.
Valley will travel to Peru for the sectional at 9 a.m. Saturday.
