Coffing’s go-ahead RBI, Warner’s pitching help Caston top Twin Lakes

Caston 4, Twin Lakes 2 (Friday): Natalie Warner pitched a three-hitter with one walk and five strikeouts, and Hadlie Coffing had the go-ahead RBI single in the bottom of the sixth as the host Lady Comets handled Twin Lakes Friday.

Coffing also doubled and finished with two RBIs. Mia Mersch followed Coffing’s RBI single with an RBI bunt single in the sixth.

Warner and Audrey Ault also had singles.

Caston won despite striking out nine times.

Warner got Miya Clerget to line out to Coffing in center field with a runner on to end it.
