Colvin, Douglass score in double figures in Lady Comets’ loss to Peru

Girls basketball

Peru 61, Caston 46 (Tuesday): Grace Colvin scored 16 points, and Madi Douglass added 13 points, eight rebounds, seven assists and four steals but the host Lady Comets fell to Peru Tuesday.

Allison Craig hit three 3-pointers and had nine points and also grabbed a team-high 10 rebounds.

Addie Robbins led Peru with 27 points. Jacey Boswell hit four 3-pointers and had 12, and Alivia Ross had 10 points and 11 rebounds.

Peru led 39-32 at halftime and extended the lead to 49-39 after three quarters.

Caston dropped to 1-2. Caston travels to North White and Winamac Friday and Saturday nights, respectively.
