Colvin hits 4 treys, combines with Douglass for 30 in Caston win over N. White

Caston 48, North White 41 (Friday): Grace Colvin hit four 3-pointers and scored 16 points, and Madi Douglass added 14 points for the visiting Lady Comets in a win over sectional rival North White Friday.

Hadlie Coffing added six points, and Allison Craig had five points and five rebounds.

Autumn Reif scored 20 points and pulled down nine rebounds, and Adrian Conn contributed a double-double (10 points, 10 rebounds) for North White.

North White outrebounded Caston 36-18 but went just 2 for 9 from the foul line. North White also committed 21 turnovers as compared to Caston’s 10.

Douglass and Reif are two of the 18 members of the IHSAA Student Advisory Committee.

Caston led 24-16 at halftime.

Caston will open Hoosier North play with a road game at Winamac at 7 p.m. tonight.
