Craft, Ruiz score as Valley claims first win

Tippecanoe Valley 2, LaVille 1 (Tuesday): Kherington Craft and Julianna Ruiz scored for the host Lady Vikings as they broke a nine-game losing streak dating back to last year.

Valley improved to 1-7. The win was the first in the coaching career for first-year coach Travis Bonfiglio.

LaVille, who won their Class 1A sectional last year, dropped to 2-4-2.

Valley travels to Rochester at 5 p.m. today.
