Cripe hits 5 more treys, combines with Brooke, Blickenstaff to lead Pioneer past John Glenn

Pioneer 67, John Glenn 32 (Saturday): Hailey Cripe hit five 3-pointers and scored a game-high 27 points, and Olivia Brooke and Madison Blickenstaff added 20 and 12 points,

respectively, for the Class 1A, No. 6 Lady Panthers in a road win over John Glenn Saturday.

Cripe hit four 3-pointers and scored 14 points in the second quarter alone. Over her last three games, she is averaging 27 points per game while making 19 combined 3-pointers.

Brooke scored eight points in the first half and 12 in the second half. Blickenstaff scored six points each in the first and third quarters.

Pioneer did not make a free throw.

Pioneer led 34-13 at halftime.

Jess Yelaska led John Glenn with 10 points.
