Cripe joins Brooke, Blickenstaff in double figures, leads Pioneer past Triton

Girls basketball

Pioneer 46, Triton 34 (Dec. 19): Hailey Cripe hit three 3-pointers and scored 20 points to lead the visiting Lady Panthers to a Hoosier North win over Triton Dec. 19.

Olivia Brooke (12) and Madison Blickenstaff (10) also scored in double figures for Pioneer, who improved to 5-3 overall and 3-1 in the Hoosier North.

Addyson Viers scored 12 points, and Taren Yates added 10 for Triton (4-5, 1-3).

Pioneer beat Triton for the second straight year.

Michael Richard and Dylan Kindig had six each.

Argos won despite scoring three points in the second quarter. Argos led 18-13 at halftime.

Drew McKaig scored 15 points for Pioneer in the loss. Ezra Lewellen had seven, and Hunter Klepinger and Gavin Clem had six each. Oscar Solano had five.
