Culver girls soccer roundup: Wins over Marquette Catholic, Taylor put Culver on doorstep of undefeated regular season

Culver 6, Marquette Catholic 0 (Monday): Ava McCune scored four goals and had two assists, and Bre Hamilton and Eliana Andrzejewski also scored for Culver in a road win over Marquette Catholic Monday.
Andrzejewski, Julia Stoch and Abby Rodgers added an assist.
McCune had a hat trick within the first 24 minutes of the game. Culver led 4-0 at halftime.
This marked Culver’s third straight shutout and their seventh shutout of the year.
Culver improved to 14-0. Their regular season finale is at North White at 5:30 p.m. Thursday.
Their postseason opener is Oct. 9 against Manchester in a Class 1A, Sectional 36 semifinal at Argos.
Culver is No. 18 in this week’s Class 1A coaches poll.
Culver 5, Taylor 0 (Saturday): Eliana Andrzejewski had two goals and an assist, and Alexis Gasanovas, Ava McCune and Bre Hamilton also scored for the host Lady Cavaliers (13-0) in a win over Taylor Saturday.
McCune and Hamilton had one assist each.
Culver led 3-0 at halftime.
