Culver holds Winamac to 3 points in 3rd quarter, claims Hoosier North win

Shuman, Ortiz, Herbert all score in double figures as Cavs reach 2-0

Culver 48, Winamac 40 (Dec. 13): Shane Shuman scored 16 points, Emiliano Ortiz had 15,

and Mason Herbert added 10 for the Culver in a Hoosier North road win over Winamac Dec. 13.

Ethan Keller had seven points.

Culver led 24-22 at halftime but held Winamac to three points in the third quarter.

Jayse Bentle led Winamac (0-6, 0-2 Hoosier North) with 16 points, Michael Loehmer added 12, and John Malchow had 10.

Culver (4-2, 2-0) broke an eight-year losing streak to Winamac.
