Tippecanoe Valley 40, LaVille 30 (Nov. 26): Nolan Cumberland scored 10 of his game-high 18 points in the second half, and Riley Shepherd added 10 points for the
Tippecanoe Valley boys basketball team in a 40-30 win over host LaVille on Nov. 26.
Tayde Kiser added eight points. Shepherd and Kiser hit two 3-pointers each.
Valley also made all eight of their free throw attempts.
Collin Czarnecki scored 15 points for LaVille (0-2) in the loss.
Valley held LaVille to five points in the fourth quarter.
The win was the first for Valley first-year coach Joe Luce.
LaVille led 18-15 at halftime, but Valley rallied to take a 29-25 lead going into the fourth quarter.
