Davis scores 9, but Culver girls fall to Elkhart Christian

Elkhart Christian 39, Culver 29 (Thursday): Brooke Davis scored nine points for the Culver girls basketball team in a road loss to Elkhart Christian Thursday.

Grace Sieber added seven points, six rebounds, five assists and two blocks. Elexa O’Brien had five points, and Maddy Hamilton and Amiyah Williams had four points each.

Williams also had a team-high 12 rebounds, three steals and two blocked shots.

Culver made just two of 12 free throws and committed 23 turnovers.

Elkhart Christian led 22-12 at halftime.
