Ex-Caston star Scales named first-team all-conference

Bethel University sophomore Isabel Scales was named first-team All-Crossroads League in voting released Wednesday.

Scales, a 5-8 sophomore guard-forward, averaged 13.4 points, 6.4 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game.

She started all 30 games in which she played and ranked 10th in the conference in points per game and 11th in rebounds per game. She also led all Crossroads League players in free throws made (140) and attempted (178) while ranking sixth in free throw percentage (78.7%). She also ranked ninth in field goal percentage (51.6%).

She scored a career-high 26 points in a 74-68 win over Spring Arbor Feb. 24.

Scales is a 2024 Caston grad.
