Flory goes 2 for 2, but Rochester falls to Madison

Madison 3, Rochester 2 (Saturday): Brayson Flory went 2 for 2 with a single and a double, and he also walked, but the Rochester baseball team lost to Madison in the first game of a three-way doubleheader that also included host Jeffersonville Saturday.
Brady Coleman and Linden Wilburn added a hit and an RBI each, and Parker Casper, Zakk Parks and Callen Ferverda each had a single.
Carson Paulik took the loss on the mound after allowing three runs (one earned) in five innings. He allowed six hits and a walk and struck out five.
Rochester committed two errors, and two of Madison’s runs were unearned.
Rochester dropped to 1-2. Madison improved to 5-0.
Rochester’s game against Jeffersonville was rained out in the third inning.
The Zebras will travel to John Glenn at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.
