Gonzalez’s 18 comes in Valley loss to NorthWood

NorthWood 48, Tippecanoe Valley 31 (Tuesday): Gaby Gonzalez scored a career-high 18 points, but the Lady Vikings lost at home to sectional rival NorthWood Tuesday.

Hadley Wise and Carlee Snyder added four each, Dalynne Bussard had three, and Lucy Hayden had two.

Claire Payne scored 13 of her game-high 19 in the second half for NorthWood, who improved to 4-0.

NorthWood went 14 for 19 from the foul line while Valley went 5 for 10.

Already leading 21-15, the Lady Panthers outscored Valley 14-2 in the third quarter.

A junior, Gonzalez’s previous career-high of 15 came in a win at NorthWood last year.
