Heishman, Musselman make All-TRC, lead Zebras to 4th at conference

Northwestern repeats as conference champs; Whaley takes medalist

Isaac Heishman Ashton Musselman

Led by all-conference players Isaac Heishman and Ashton Musselman, the Rochester boys golf team shot a 359 and finished fourth out of 10 teams at the Three Rivers Conference tournament at Round Barn Golf Club at Mill Creek Saturday.

Heishman was Rochester’s low scorer with a 8-over-par 80. Musselman added an 81, Jack Reffett and Brevin Nicholson each shot 99, and Parker Brown had a 112.

Heishman parred the par-4 first hole. He was only one of six players in the field who did not have a bogey or worse. He also birdied the par-3 third hole. Musselman birdied the par-5 12th hole.

The top 10 golfers plus ties made the All-TRC team. Heishman tied for third, and Musselman tied for fifth.

Northwestern won the team title for the second straight year with a 337. Southwood was second with a 340.

Northwestern’s Hudson Whaley was the medalist with a 75.
