Caston 74, Lakeland Christian 36 (Nov. 25): Lane Hook scored a game-high 27 points, and Logan Mollenkopf added 20 for the visiting Comets as they pulled away with a 29-point third quarter in claiming a season-opening win over Lakeland Christian in Winona Lake Nov. 25.

Caston also had a 23-8 advantage in bench points.

Four different players hit a 3-pointer, including reserves Owen Chapman, Drew McGrew and Brodie Howard.

Caston led 31-21 at halftime and extended the lead to 60-27 after three quarters.

Caston beat Lakeland Christian for the third straight year.
