Hunnicutt has 2 hits, but Kouts softball blanks Culver

Kouts 8, Culver 0 (Saturday): Zoey Hunnicutt had a pair of singles and a stolen base, and Marissa Milam had a double for Culver in a loss to host Kouts Saturday.

Luci Overmyer and Kaitlyn Kanschat each had a single.

A.J. Hinds took the loss in the circle, allowing eight hits and five runs (four earned) in four innings. She walked three and struck out one.

Kayleigh Fritch allowed three hits and no earned runs in two innings of relief. She walked none and struck out two.

Culver committed six errors which led to four unearned runs for Kouts.

Natalie Kozub pitched a five-hit shutout for Kouts. She struck out five.

Kouts scored in each of the first three innings and built a 5-0 lead.
