Kroft scores 20, leads 4 in double figures in Winamac’s opening win

Girls basketball
Winamac 60, Frontier 21 (Tuesday): Kandace Kroft hit four 3-pointers and scored a game-high 20 points for Winamac in a road win over Frontier in their opener Tuesday.
Marissa Iverson added 12 points, all in the first half. Corrine Ulerick and Sadie Popejoy tallied 11 points each.
Maya Kremer led Frontier with seven.
Winamac held Frontier to two points in the second quarter in jumping out to a 33-8 lead at halftime.
Winamac is 3-0 against Frontier since adding them back to the schedule in 2023.
