Lady Dragons fall to 0-5 after loss to ECA

Elkhart Christian 75, Argos 19 (Saturday): Ellie Bollenbacher scored eight points in the first half for the host Lady Dragons in a loss to sectional rival Elkhart Christian Saturday.

Leah Pizzuto added four, Avery Binfet and Grace Thomas each hit a 3-pointer in the second half, and Lexi Gibson had one.

Kyla Yordy scored 22 points for Elkhart Christian before sitting out the fourth quarter. The Lady Eagles moved up to No. 3 in this week’s Class 1A poll.

Elkhart Christian led 38-13 at halftime and extended the lead to 54-13 after three quarters.
