Lady Dragons wait out weather, beat NM for first win

Argos 5, North Miami 0 (Saturday): Hayna Willis scored twice in a six-minute span in the first half, and she later added two assists in the second half as the visiting Lady Dragons handled North Miami for their first win Saturday.
Willis fed Elaina Conklin, who beat the North Miami goalkeeper near post for a goal in the 48th minute. Willis’ pass to Leah Pizzuto led to a one-touch shot and a goal in the 56th minute.
Caylee Mason scored off a Emily Pippenger assist in the 60th minute to complete the scoring.
Argos had a 19-2 advantage in shots on goal. Argos improved to 1-8-1 overall and 1-1 in the Hoosier North. Culver secured the conference title with a 2-0 record.
The game featured a one-hour lightning delay late in the first half.
