Lady Panthers pull away in 4th quarter, snap LaVille’s 7-game winning streak

Pioneer 53, LaVille 38 (Dec. 16): Ashlynn Brooke scored a game-high 17 points, and Paula Collado Fernandez added 15 for visiting Pioneer as they handed LaVille their first

Hoosier North loss on Dec. 16.

Kylie Attinger and Makenna Strycker added eight points each.

Pioneer led 32-29 after three quarters and then outscored the Lady Lancers 21-9 in the fourth.

Pioneer (9-2, 3-1 Hoosier North) bounced back from a Hoosier North loss to Caston three days earlier.

Brooke Edison led LaVille (10-3, 2-1) with 13 points. The loss snapped a seven-game winning streak and means that Caston is the only remaining unbeaten team in conference play.

Pioneer beat LaVille for the fifth straight meeting.
