Girls basketball
Rensselaer 60, Winamac 24 (Thursday): Piper Link scored nine points, but the Winamac girls basketball team’s two-game winning streak was snapped at Class 3A, No. 4 Rensselaer Thursday.
Kandace Kroft added six points.
Rensselaer (10-0) held the Lady Warriors without a field goal in the second quarter, outsourcing them 21-2 to open a 41-10 halftime lead. Winamac’s 24 points were a season low.
Rensselaer has won the last four meetings in the series.
