Love’s 39 helps Valley pull out win over Rochester, CMA

Tippecanoe Valley 164, Rochester 165, Culver Academy 171 (April 29): Eli Love shot a 39 to help Valley pull-out a three-way match win over Rochester and Culver Academy over the back nine at Round Barn Golf Club at Mill Creek on April 29.

Wes Parker and Nash Bouse each shot a 41, Ethan Young had a 43, and Thad Shambaugh had a 50 for Valley.

Rochester senior J.R. McLochlin was the medalist with a 37. Noah Riffle had a 38, Isaac Heishman and Ashton Musselman each had a 45, and Davis Renie had a 48.

Love and Riffle birdied the par-5 12th hole. Riffle followed with a birdie on No. 13, a par-4. McLochlin birdied No. 17, a par-4.

Valley also won the JV match over Rochester 193-194. Remington Rickel led the Valley JV with a 45. Robert Bozzo led the Rochester JV with a 42.
