The Tippecanoe Valley boys soccer team lost to Manchester 6-0 in a Class 2A,

Sectional 22 semifinal at Wabash High School’s Alumni Field Wednesday.
The Squires beat Valley for the second time this season and snapped their 11-game winning streak.
Manchester improved to 12-4-1 and earned a spot in the sectional final against No. 6 Culver Academy. The Eagles took care of Fort Wayne Concordia 6-2 in Wednesday’s other semifinal.
Valley finished 14-4 in Trevor Brown’s first season as coach. The final record is the best in the nine-year history of the program.
Half of Valley’s losses were to Manchester. Valley scored 85 goals for the season, and Manchester was the only team to shut them out. Manchester also beat Valley 6-0 in their Three Rivers Conference meeting on Aug. 30.
Senior Jonathan Ruiz led the team with 27 goals and 18 assists. Junior Gio Arriaga scored 26 goals.
