McCune’s hat trick, Andrzejewski’s 2 goals help Culver take Washington Township

Culver 8, Washington Township 0 (Tuesday): Ava McCune notched a hat trick, and Eliana Andrzejewski added two goals for the host Lady Cavaliers in a rout of Washington Township Tuesday.

McCune scored twice in the first half to help Culver to a 2-0 halftime lead.

They then added six goals in a 17-minute span in the second half.

Bre Hamilton, Nohemy Rojas-Mendoza and Alexis Gasanovas each added a goal and an assist. Kiara Luhnow and Julia Stoch also had goals.

McCune has scored seven of Culver’s 17 goals in four games.

Culver travels to sectional rival Rochester at 5:30 p.m. today.
