McKaig gets 24, but Pioneer falls at home to Lewis Cass

Lewis Cass 56, Pioneer 42 (Friday): Drew McKaig hit four 3-pointers and scored a game-high 24 points, but Pioneer fell at home to sectional rival Lewis Cass Friday.

Caleb Sweet added nine. McKaig and Sweet combined to score all 18 Pioneer points in the fourth quarter.

Tyson Good and Luke Chambers scored 17 points each for Lewis Cass. Keaton Lewellen added 12.

Lewis Cass led 22-18 at halftime and extended the lead to 40-24 after three quarters.

Lewis Cass went 11 for 16 from the foul line while Pioneer was 2 for 6.

Pioneer has lost four straight overall and six straight to Lewis Cass.
