Mellott, Ault hit 4 treys each, lead Valley past John Glenn

Tippecanoe Valley 48, John Glenn 31 (Nov. 19): Kaydence Mellott hit four 3-pointers and

Corinna Stiles

scored a game-high 18 points, and Corinna Stiles and Lily Ault added 12 points each for Valley in a road win over sectional rival John Glenn on Nov. 19.

Ault also hit four 3s, and Stiles hit a pair of 3s. Valley (5-2) hit five 3-pointers in the first quarter in building a 17-5 lead.

John Glenn trimmed the deficit to 24-15 at halftime.

Kennedy Hayden scored eight of her team-high 10 points in the second quarter for John Glenn, who dropped to 3-4.

Valley beat John Glenn for the first time since Nov. 24, 2001.
