Mellott brothers, doubles teams propel Valley past John Glenn

Boys tennis

Tippecanoe Valley 4, John Glenn 1 (Thursday): William Mellott and Noah Mellott won their singles matches in straight sets, and the doubles teams of Thad Shambaugh and Hayden Stookey at No. 1 and J.J. Kammerer and Brent Miller at No. 2 also won in straight sets for the victorious Vikings in an Indiana Northern State Conference home win over John Glenn Thursday.

Liam Newcomer lost in three sets at No. 3 singles.

Valley also won the JV match 4-1.

Valley will host Mishawaka Marian next Thursday.
