Miller takes medalist with 81, leads Valley to another INSC title

The Tippecanoe Valley girls golf team shot a 387 to repeat as Indiana Northern State Conference champions at Pretty Lake Golf Club in Plymouth Sept. 5.

Junior Savana Miller was the medalist with an 81, Aly Brown had a 91, McKinley Burton shot a personal-best 106, Brystal Sands had a 109, and Taylor Long had a 122.

Valley’s team score was their lowest in an 18-hole match in four years, according to coach Leslie Brouyette.

Miller, Brown and Burton made the All-INSC team, and Sands made honorable mention.
