Caston 10, Carroll (Flora) 0 (5 innings): Kinzie Mollenkopf pitched a one-hitter with six walks and 10 strikeouts and also went 3 for 3 with a single, double and homer for Caston in a season-opening road win at Carroll Friday.

Addison Zimpleman and Isabel Scales also homered for Caston. Zimpleman went 3 for 3 with an RBI, and Scales went 2 for 3 with four RBIs.

Bailey Harness also had an RBI. Annie Harsh and Maddi Smith each singled.
