Argos 46, Bremen 30 (Nov. 23): J.J. Morris scored 13 of his game-high 24 points in the
first quarter, and Sean Richard added 15 for Argos in a season-opening win over visiting Bremen at Phil Weybright Gymnasium on Nov. 23.
Argos led 19-6 after one quarter and extended the lead to 27-11 at halftime.
Argos made 12 of 16 free throws – Richard was 9 for 9 – while Bremen went 7 for 15.
This was the teams’ first meeting since Bremen beat Argos in four overtimes in last year’s Bi-County Tournament quarterfinals. Bremen beat Argos twice last year.
In the JV game, Bremen prevailed 38-27. Obi Salary led Argos with 15 points, Hunter Xavier had nine, Kyle Penn had two, and Corbin Rex had one.
