Musselman’s 38 helps Rochester beat Northfield

Rochester 171, Northfield 183 (Thursday): His round highlighted by an eagle on the par-5 second hole, Ashton Musselman shot a 38 to claim medalist honors as the visiting Zebras beat three-time defending Three Rivers Conference champion Northfield at Honeywell Golf Course in Wabash Thursday.

Davis Renie added a 40, Isaac Heishman had a 41, Brady Morgan had a 52, and Jack Reffett had a 53 to round out the Rochester scorecard.

Brevin Nicholson led the Rochester JV with a 52.

Gavin Brainard led Northfield with a 44.

Northfield and Rochester finished first and second, respectively, at last year’s TRC tournament.
