Musselman shares medalist with 40, but Southwood ekes out win over Zebras, Manchester

Southwood 179, Rochester 180, Manchester 196 (Wednesday): Ashton Musselman shot a 40 to share medalist honors, but host Rochester settled for second in a three-way match against Southwood and Manchester over the front nine at Round Barn Golf Club at Mill Creek Wednesday.

Isaac Heishman had a 43, Jack Reffett had a 47, Brevin Nicholson had a 50, and Parker Brown had a 54 to round out the Rochester scorecard.

Griffin Chambers of Southwood also shot a 40 to share medalist honors with Musselman.

Owen Vineyard was Manchester’s low scorer with a 45.

Musselman birdied the par-4 second hole and the par-3 fifth hole. He also had three pars, two bogeys and two double-bogeys.

Rochester will host the TRC tournament at 8:30 a.m. Saturday.
