Rochester 4, Twin Lakes 3 (Thursday): Taylor Navara scored the tiebreaking goal in the second half, and she also had two assists for the host Lady Zs as they beat Twin Lakes in their regular season finale Thursday.
Aubrey Miller contributed two goals, and Gretchen Gardner also scored as Rochester rallied from deficits of 1-0, 2-1 and 3-2.
Bria Rensberger also had an assist. Alexandria Cortes-Gustafson had six saves in goal.
“It wasn’t perfect, but once we settled in and started playing number seven (Yolanda Mares) a little tougher, it really came together for the ladies,” Rochester assistant coach Mark Eber said in a statement. “They earned and deserved this win.”
Rochester will play Argos at 6 p.m. today in a Class 1A, Sectional 36 quarterfinal.
