Shuman adds 12 as Cavs snap 5-game skid in Bi-County consolation game

Culver 59, Oregon-Davis 40 (Friday): Emiliano Ortiz scored 18 points, Joey Pizur scored a career-high 16, and Shane Shuman had 12 for Culver in a win over sectional rival Oregon-Davis in a Bi-County Tournament consolation game at the LaVille auxiliary gym Friday.
Ethan Keller added nine points, David Hite had three and Ethan Binion had one.
Caleb Seese led Oregon-Davis with 12 points.
This was the teams’ first meeting since Culver’s 37-28 win in last year’s sectional quarterfinals.
The teams will meet again at Culver on Wednesday.
Culver led 34-18 at halftime and extended the lead to 50-29 after three quarters.
