Ortiz, Shuman combine for 48 in Culver win over West Central

Culver 73, West Central 45 (Nov. 29): Emiliano Ortiz scored 25 points, grabbed seven rebounds, dished out six assists and added three steals for Culver in a home win over West Central on Nov. 29.

Shane Shuman added a double-double with 23 points and 11 rebounds. Joey Pizur tossed in nine points, Oliver Morgan had eight, Ethan Keller had five, and Logan Caudill had three.

Keller also had six assists and three steals.

Culver led 17-9 after one quarter and extended the lead to 37-22 at halftime.

Culver beat West Central for the fifth straight year.
