Elkhart Christian 13, Culver 8 (Tuesday): Luci Overmyer went 4 for 4 with two RBIs, and Kaylee Hamilton doubled, tripled and drove in three runs, but Culver fell to host Elkhart Christian Tuesday.
Zoey Hunnicutt went 3 for 5 with two runs scored, and Kaitlyn Kanschat had two doubles and an RBI. A.J. Hinds and Gracie Milam had one hit each. Kayleigh Fritch contributed an RBI.
Hayden Lute took the loss in relief after allowing four hits and three runs (two earned) in two innings of relief. She walked three and struck out none.
Culver outhit Elkhart Christian 14-12, but starter Hinds, Lute and Fritch combined to walk 12 batters.
Culver led 4-0 after two innings and led 8-4 going into the bottom of the fourth.
