Parker, Miller break 40 as Valley beats Mishawaka

Tippecanoe Valley 170, Mishawaka 187 (Wednesday): Wes Parker was the medalist with a 38, and Greg Miller added a 39 on the back nine at Round Barn Golf Club at Mill Creek as the host Vikings beat the Cavemen in a dual Wednesday.

Eli Love added a 42, Nash Bouse had a 51, and Remington Rickel had a 51 for Valley.

Tanner Roop and Brady Fisher each shot a 45 for Mishawaka.

Nolan Cumberland led the Valley JV with a 49.

Parker was the only player on either team to birdie the par-5 11th hole. Miller was the only player on either team to birdie the par-5 12th hole and the only player to par the par-3 16th hole.
