Argos 1, Lakeland Christian 0 (Monday): Ioan Petz scored in the fifth minute off an Artur Stefani-Tonin assist, and the No. 12 Dragons avenged a loss to Lakeland Christian in last year’s sectional final Monday.

Angelo McMillen and Sawyer Crace combined for a shutout, the 400th cleansheet in program history.

Argos also won their sectional opener for the 15th consecutive year.

Argos had a 6-4 advantage in shots on goal.

Argos will face Winamac, an 11-1 winner over Culver, in the Class 1A, Sectional 36 semifinals at 5 p.m. Wednesday at Argos.

Argos improved to 10-4-2.
