Petz scores for Argos, but regular season ends with loss

Bethany Christian 5, Argos 1 (Saturday): Ioan Petz scored off a Keagan Stanley assist, but the Class 1A, No. 13 Dragons fell to Bethany Christian Saturday.

Noah Subera, Sawyer Beachy, Jude Miller and Zane Parson scored for Bethany Christian.

Sawyer Crace and Angelo McMillen split time at goalkeeper for Argos, who finished the regular season 9-4-2.

Bethany Christian, a Class 1A regional champion who moved up to Class 2A this year per the IHSAA Success Factor, outshot Argos 12-3.

The game was tied 1-1 at halftime.
