Girls basketball
Pioneer 70, West Central 36 (Friday): Hailey Cripe made six 3-pointers and scored 26 points for the Class 1A, No. 6 Pioneer girls basketball team in a win over host West Central Friday.
Olivia Brooke scored 13 points, and Madison Blickenstaff added 12 for Pioneer.
Mackenzie Walker had nine, and Brooklyn Borges sunk a pair of 3-pointers among her eight.
Already leading 42-23 at halftime, Pioneer extended the lead to 63-25 after three quarters.
Pioneer beat West Central for the fourth straight year.
Cripe has made 14 3-pointers in her last two games.
