Girls basketball
The Indiana Coaches of Girls Sports Association named Pioneer senior point guard Ashlynn Brooke first-team All-State Wednesday.
Brooke was one of 26 players statewide selected for the honor. Brooke, a Ball State signee, averaged 23.8 points, 5.4 rebounds, 5.6 assists and 5 steals per game for the Lady Panthers, who went 21-4.
She was the only RTC area player selected first, second or third team.
No area players were selected academic all-state or honorable mention academic all-state.
