Pioneer junior guard Hailey Cripe and senior forward Olivia Brooke have both been named to the Indiana Coaches of Girls Sports Association Second Team All-State.

Cripe and Brooke were the top two scorers on the Pioneer team that won the Class 1A state championship Saturday with a 43-42 win over Loogootee.

They were the only area players recognized.

In addition, Brooke and teammate Mackenzie Walker were both named to the ICGSA Academic All-State team.

Pioneer’s Madison Blickenstaff was also named to the Academic All-State Honorable Mention team.

Both were canceled.

Pioneer was among those scheduled to compete in both.

Also, a multi-team outdoor meet scheduled for Caston on April 10 has been canceled. Pioneer and Caston were among the teams scheduled to compete in that meet.
