Pioneer 55, North White 41 (Saturday): Drew McKaig scored 12 of his game-high 17 points in the second half, and Brayden Erickson and Caleb Sweet also scored in double figures for Pioneer in a road win over North White Saturday.
Erickson hit three 3-pointers and added a career-high 16 points, and Sweet added 15.
McKaig also led Pioneer with 12 rebounds.
Dane Hood led North White with 12 points, and Eli Stearns had 11 for North White, who fell to 5-16.
Pioneer led 16-10 after one quarter and extended the lead to 29-17 at halftime.
This was the teams’ first meeting since North White beat Pioneer 65-46 in last year’s Class 1A sectional final.
