Rausch pitches no-hitter, M. Keller continues hot start as Winamac improves to 2-0

Winamac 14, Argos 0 (5 innings, Monday): Maggie Keller had three hits and three RBIs, and Grace Roth added a pair of singles and three RBIs, and Brooke Rausch pitched a no-hitter for the visiting Lady Warriors in a shutout win over Argos in the Hoosier North opener for both teams.
Brody Goodman added three hits and two RBIs, and Corinne Ulerick also had three hits. Makayla Werner had two hits and two stolen bases.
Trinity Harlan, Sophie Wroblewski and Adrianna Hall each added a hit and an RBI. Rausch and Hannah Meyer also had hits.
Winamac had 18 hits – 16 singles and two doubles.
Keller has five hits and six RBIs through the first two games of the season.
In the circle, Rausch faced 16 batters, one over the minimum. She walked one and struck out 10 while throwing 64 pitches.
Addelyn Lewark walked to lead off the fourth to end Rausch’s perfect game bid. Rausch then retired the next six batters to complete the gem.
Ella Dean took the loss for Argos. She pitched five innings and allowed 12 hits and 15 runs. She walked seven and struck out two. Argos committed four errors which led to six unearned runs for Winamac.
