Redinger, Stults score 15 each, but New Prairie girls hold off Argos

Girls basketball

New Prairie 57, Argos 50 (Dec. 20): Samantha Redinger and Bella Stults scored 15 points each, and Emma Dunlap added 11, but the visiting New Prairie girls basketball team held off Argos at Phil Weybright Gymnasium on Dec. 20.

New Prairie hit four 3-pointers in the second quarter to build a 33-27 halftime lead and extended the lead to 50-41 after three quarters.

Jayden Flagg scored 21 points to lead New Prairie, who improved to 8-6 and beat Argos for the second straight year.
