Rochester 14, Northfield 0 (5 innings, Monday): Bria Rensberger pitched a two-hit shutout with one walk and 11 strikeouts, and she added two doubles and two RBIs at the plate as the Rochester softball team drubbed Northfield at Fansler Field Monday.
Aubrey Miller and Aubrey Wilson had two hits and an RBI each, and Mylee Heinzmann had a double and two RBIs. Mis Howdeshell singled and also had two RBIs.
Makhia Harding had a double and an RBI, and Jadyn Field had a single and an RBI. Darah Strasser also had a hit. Brailyn Hunter also had an RBI.
Rensberger was coming off her first career no-hitter in a 13-0 win in five innings over Twin Lakes Friday.
Her two-out, two-run double capped a seven-run second inning.
All four third-inning runs were unearned and came after the first two batters were retired.
Rochester is 5-6 overall and 1-1 in the Three Rivers Conference.
