Rensberger verbally commits to Aurora University

Rochester softball ace Bria Rensberger verbally committed to Aurora University, per social media accounts.

Rensberger went 15-2 last season with a 1.34 ERA. She is 46-9 with a 1.48 ERA in her high school career with 608 strikeouts in 359 innings.

Rochester won their second straight Three Rivers Conference title and their third straight sectional title this spring.

She also plays for the Texas Glory 18-and-under travel team.

Rensberger said she plans on pursuing a nursing degree.

Aurora University is an NCAA Division II school located in Aurora, Ill.

Coached by Mike McKenzie, Aurora went 26-15 last spring.
